We bought a house!

Finally! After months of searching, we have made our decision, contracts exchanged and all that jazz. It's in Sydney's upper North Shore, which is further from the city than we planned (about 30 mins), but I grew up in this area, and I love it. Plus, we get to buy a whole house, not just a garden apartment (which costs pretty much the same price as you get closer to the city). It needs a lot of renovations to make it what we want (new kitchen, bathroom, tiled roof, render, extend decking & add a pool maybe?), but for now, its clean and neat and is fine to live in for the next 12 months or so :) So excited! We settle in 3 weeks, so now its just a matter of buying some furniture (and a huge fridge, because I am tired of doing grocery shopping every 2 days due to our tiny fridge not being able to hold more than a bag full of groceries, not to mention, everything going off pretty much within 24 hours) :D Best thing is, we don't have to rent anymore, and we have room to raise a family ;)
