I'm so excited about my trip and have bought a bunch of stuff in preparation! Including new luggage (I've never bought luggage before - so exciting. Ive been using our old family suitcases which are falling apart and are ugly and oversized). I also bought 2 pairs of snowboarding pants, and new thermals, plus some other bits and bobs. I can't wait to get on that plane and enjoy a month of travelling, relaxing and snowboarding!! It could very well be my last big trip for a while, if we start our 'family' next year. So I'm determined to make this a really awesome trip.
There's only a few weeks left of work, and its getting pretty damn stressful. But the light at the end of the tunnel makes it all worth it. Our work xmas dinner is coming up in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to that :) And we're even having a little xmas celebration at my gym (a fruit platter after our morning spin class in 2 weeks - can't think of anything better than standing around dripping in sweat, and woolfing down strawberries and pineapple with a bunch of your spin class buddies). Climbing is going really well - I've advanced quite a bit in the last few months. I'm a little worried about how much I'm going to "lose" in the skills department, after a month away without any rock climbing. Hopefully I wont go too far backwards.
Generally, everything is fabulous, the end of the year is nearly here, Eclipse comes out on DVD today, and I have a nice little shopping trip to enjoy today at lunchtime. Good times. :D
Ps: Here are some pics of my new snowboarding pants - my sister thinks the first one looks terrible. She just doesn't "get" boarder fashion.. what do you guys think?

I love that you get in to Christmas,... cos I'm the least festive Christian that I know of... In fact, Christmas turns me in to a grinchy monster... Maybe it's because you've never been encumbered with the tradition's unspoken obligations!!!
maybe i'm just trying to make up for a childhood deprived of of christmas tree. Oh, How I longed for a christmas tree as a child....

Yep I'm a grinch. Green faced and all. haha. I even have a Christmas face. My Dad said the other day, "Dont you know, Christmas is about doing things that you dont want to!" ... I was like, ORLY... here I was thinking the day was about something completely different...
